Our wedding will be formal wedding attire. Think polished but comfortable — we’ll be celebrating lakeside!

No bright neon colors, please!

What’s the weather like in South Lake Tahoe in late July?

Expect sunny skies and warm days (70s–80s°F), with cooler evenings (50s - 60s) in the mountains. Bring shorts and some layers, especially if you’re planning to explore or attend evening events!

What should I pack for the weekend?

South Lake Tahoe in late July is warm during the day and cooler in the evenings — so bring layers! We recommend packing comfortable clothes for daytime exploring, swimwear for beach or lake time, and your outfit for the wedding (see dress code above!).

Where should I stay?

We’ve reserved a room block at the Hyatt Regency Incline Village, where the wedding will take place. See our Travel section for booking info and additional nearby options!

Is there parking at the venue?

Yes! The Hyatt Regency has on-site parking available for guests.

Will there be transportation provided?

Yes transportation will be provided from the Hyatt to the wedding venue. Hyatt is also 5 minutes away from the wedding venue.

What else is there to do while we’re in town?

So much! From hiking and boating to casinos and breweries, Tahoe has it all. Check out our Things to Do section for our favorite local recs.

Will there be other events during the weekend?

Yes! We’re planning a few optional group activities like a beach day! These are totally casual and open to everyone. More info coming soon!
